But let me tell you, the real showstoppers were the dressing and the pinto beans. Both were absolute perfection--seasoned just right and bursting with flavor. Honestly, all of the sides were incredible! I had macaroni and cheese, yams, and greens, and every single bite was amazing. My daughter got the fried chicken dinner, with four big, juicy, and well-seasoned pieces of chicken. My other daughter went for the veggie plate and loved the corn. My niece chose the barbecue three-meat plate, and we all shared desserts--a slice of lemon cake and German chocolate cake. Every single thing was fantastic. The Mac wasn't the best it needed some seasoning and more cheese The other sides were really good. The smoked chicken was so good. Service was relatively fast for a Saturday evening.
